Rough Texture

Run your hand over your cheek and you can feel it — a bumpy, uneven surface that no amount of moisturiser fixes, because the problem isn't dryness.

Usually it's buildup. Skin cells shed and replace themselves, but the process slows with age, sun exposure and pollution. The old cells sit on the surface instead of lifting away, and you feel them.

Chemical exfoliation, not physical. Scrubs and brushes create micro-tears and inflammation, which makes texture worse over time even though skin feels smoother for a day. Two to three nights a week is enough — over-exfoliating produces the tight, shiny, sensitised skin people mistake for progress.
